1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pigeon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors and users of Pigeon, including the website at pigeon.app and any associated tools or applications.

2. What Pigeon does

Pigeon is a productivity tool that allows users to search through their own social media followers by bio keyword. It connects to TikTok via the official Login Kit OAuth flow, retrieves your follower data that you are entitled to access, and presents it in a searchable interface.

Pigeon does not store, transmit, or share your follower data. All processing happens locally in your browser or on your own device.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Pigeon only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual
• Use exported follower data for spam, unsolicited marketing, or mass outreach
• Attempt to circumvent or abuse the rate limits or access controls of any connected platform
• Use the Service in any way that violates TikTok's terms of service
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data beyond what is explicitly provided by the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial data resale or aggregation purpose

4. Third-party platforms

Pigeon connects to TikTok via its official Login Kit and API. Your use of TikTok is governed by TikTok's own terms of service and privacy policy, which are separate from these terms.

Pigeon is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. We are an independent tool that uses TikTok's official developer programme.

Access to TikTok data may be modified, restricted, or revoked at any time by TikTok. Pigeon cannot guarantee continued access.

5. Your data and privacy

Pigeon processes your follower data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or your followers' data to any server. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for how you use any data you export from Pigeon. By exporting follower data, you agree to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR where applicable.

6. Intellectual property

The Pigeon name, logo, and website design are the property of Pigeon. You may not use them without prior written permission.

The follower data you access through Pigeon belongs to the respective platform users. Pigeon claims no ownership over any follower data.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Pigeon is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular platform integration will remain available.

We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on data retrieved through Pigeon.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pigeon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to reputation.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
